PAST
Jade Kira was born in Thailand during the height of the time period when refugees were fleeing from Vietnam. Her mixed heritage stems from her grandparents; on her mother’s side, her grandfather is half Chinese and half Cambodian, while her Grandmother’s bloodline is a mix of Chinese, French and Russian. Her biological father is also rumored to be Eurasian, possibly mixed Russian and Vietnamese. She grew up in the states and eventually settled with her family in California.
PRESENT
Today, Jade is a freelance business and political forecast writer for Diversity MBA magazine, and an Entrepreneur of online retail businesses.
She is also a regular volunteer for the Collette’s Children Shelter, and a mentor and speaker for programs such as Project Motivate, an organization dedicated to mentoring and supporting Vietnamese “at risk” teens.
